Fried Green Tomato BLT

This image is a vibrant, abstract, cosmic swirl of colors which takes the viewer to the far reaches of the universe. Or at least down to Miami. Which is where we enjoyed this delicious dish of fried green tomatoes and smoked bacon during a weekend birthday brunch in June of ’22. The bright reds and deep blues spiral into each other, suggesting the rich, smoky notes of pork belly mixed with tangy, sweet tomato jam. Bright streaks of green mimic the crispy fried exterior, while the fiery oranges and creamy yellows tangle together like melting pimento cheese and tender frisée atop the warm tomatoes.
